MOTIVATION

What motivates you? Sometimes when I take a step back and look at the daily challenges we all face - as adults, as parents, as women, as people of color - it is amazing that we can all even get out of bed in the morning! I've always felt like a pretty self-motivated person, with a "type A" personality, but even for me - it is difficult to feel motivated EVERY DAY. That's why I rely on a few different sources of motivation. First and foremost is my faith in God. Faith in a higher power has helped me climb mountains and overcome obstacles that I never imagined I could. Secondly, is motivation to spend quality time with family and friends. I absolutely LIVE for a fun Orlando vacation with my family! But...vacations aren't cheap. In fact, nothing is cheap these days, so my third source of motivation is to Secure the Bag. While having the drive to succeed is important, I've also learned that sometimes I have to take time to relax and become "unmotivated". I recently started taking yoga classes again, because I realized I was pushing myself too hard and needed to spend more time meditating and stretching to release tension. I hope that you all are able to stay motivated while taking time out for yourselves to de-compress. This month’s newsletter is dedicated to all of YOU who motivate us at the UnFrumpyMommyStore, and helping you find your source of motivation.

I wanted to send a note and say THANK YOU for the Pink Package Shoulout! I was tickled PINK to see my name on the screen! I attached a pic of the shirt from my first order...I knew this would probably look like my first order because I recently moved. My first order was at my previous address. TINA TURNER - MY PERSONAL MOTIVATION

One way to stay motivated is to follow someone who motivates you on a daily basis. It can be a social media influencer, celebrity, athlete, family member, friend, etc. It should be someone you relate to and that radiates positivity. One of my personal faves has always been Tina Turner. While she's always been a favorite of mine, her recent HBO documentary, TINA, made me admire her even more!
